Welcome new members, returning members and visitors. PCAA is a dedicated group of artists who encourage each other to create, see things in a different way, and continue to learn. Our organization is over 35 years strong and was established to provide an artists' community for supporting and promoting each other.
As president, I am excited to move the organization in a direction that is keeping with the ever-changing times, to offer new opportunities and welcome new ideas. I was excited to discover this organization when I relocated to Florida and it has helped me stay engaged in the art community. We have new board members for the 2022-2024 seasons that are focused on improving everyone's experience. We are all committed to keeping our organization alive and thriving.
Being a member of PCAA you are entitled to unique opportunities to display and sell your artwork throughout the community in three different venues, learn new ideas in six scheduled demonstrations from experienced artists in various mediums, enter our highly anticipated, multi-medium member judged Art Show.
We are also proud to be able to grant scholarships to high school students each year who are seeking an education in the arts.
I look forward to this coming year and encourage new ideas to help keep the arts alive in all of us! If you are not a member, I hope you will consider joining us. Please check out this website to learn more, for updates, and new opportunities.
Laura Tiano
Laura Tiano grew up in New Jersey, raised her family there then fulfilled her desire to move to Florida four years ago, and loves Florida living! She always had a passion for art and worked in the Graphic Arts industry after college. Watercolor painting has always been her medium until she recently discovered the quick pace of Acrylics. In her free time, She enjoys golfing, gardening and boating.
Nancy Mich is originally a Connecticut artist. She enjoy painting the barns, churches, and landscapes of the Northeast. She moved to Port St Lucie eight years ago, and now enjoys painting the scenes of south Florida. She paints and teaches in all mediums, Acrylic, Oil, Pastel, and Watercolor.
Lois Brusko started painting when she was 12, taking lessons from a local artist. She painted sporadically over the years until she retired. She moved to Palm City in 2015, and after her husband died a friend invited her to PCAA.
Her accounting background began in the 1980’s when she worked as Office Manager for a firm. In 1997, she took a job as Executive Assistant to the president of a corporation with the added responsibility for Accounts Payable and Receivables as needed.
Diane Raymond grew up near Philadelphia, married and raised her family in New Jersey. She is a retired art therapist and has enjoyed painting in oils and acrylics since retiring to Palm City in 2010. She paints mainly with oils and acrylics, enjoys painting birds, animals, people, landscapes, seascapes, and all the beauty around.
Donna Jutila moved to Palm City from Connecticut 5 years ago. She has always appreciated the arts but it wasn’t until she lived in Paris in the late 90’s that she had the time to try oil painting. The Treasure Coast’s art community is now providing renewed inspiration.
Dana Meyer I began painting in my early twenties and was hooked from the start. My preferred medium was oil using lots of color and texture. I like mediums that accommodate brush, palette knife and especially fingers. I've never been able to keep my fingers out of the paint. I explored photography for three years, but always came back to painting. Living on a sailboat for twelve and a half years brought exploration into pencil, ink, watercolor and more photography. I have developed macular degeneration which has sent me in a new direction: abstract painting in acrylic where I can indulge my love of color. Exciting, frustrating, satisfying and never the same. Whatever my diminishing eyesight brings, I will still be putting color on canvas.
